Guitar Teacher

Join our friendly and dynamic teaching team at Ron Leigh's Music Factory!
We're looking for a passionate guitar teacher to guide beginner to advanced students. While teaching experience is preferred, the key is adaptability—each lesson is tailored to the student's needs, with no specific teaching method required. We welcome you to come and work in a dynamic environment under the guidance of Ron Leigh who has a wealth of industry knowledge working with some of the biggest names in our industry.

You'll have the opportunity to teach 1–2 afternoons/evenings per week , with the potential to grow your schedule quickly. Wednesdays from 3.30pm, up till 9.00pm are an immediate start. Our well-equipped teaching rooms are conveniently located next to our retail store, providing easy access to books and resources for seamless curriculum planning.

Applicant requirements:

• Reliable, professional and committed

• Demonstrate initiative and eagerness to learn

• Able to adapt teaching to student's learning style and interests

• Ability to coach students through AMEB grade levels including Rockschool and to work with a large age range of students from beginners to advanced

• Not essential, but preferable to be studying or have a music diploma or degree

• Hold a current Working With Children's check registration is required
