About the Role
The Alumni and Experiential Learning Coordinator (Program Coordinator) manages activities that engage and educate emerging leaders, youth, and diverse audiences, as well as, coordinating activities for exchange program alumni.
Skills and Experience
Two years of progressively responsible experience in a multilingual, multicultural, or multinational work environment is required, with project management, marketing, public relations, communication, or education duties as a significant part of the job.
University degree in international relations, communications, marketing, public relations, American Studies, intercultural/multicultural studies, or local equivalent is required.
Fluent speaking/reading/writing English is required. This may be tested.
Duties
Major duties and responsibilities for this position include:
Coordinates Experiential Learning projects and events, typically “learning through experience” activities such as tech or entrepreneurship camps, music and sports programs, journalism training and other focused community engagement programs for Emerging Voices audiences.
Designs, develops, identifies co-sponsors and funding sources; plans and oversees a range of outreach activities in support of Mission goals.
Collaborates with Media Assistant to create dynamic online content promoting the U.S. as a partner of choice in various fields, including technology, climate, and security.
Designs, plans, and implements a broad range of activities to maintain contact with alumni of all Mission exchanges, activities, and initiatives.
