Join Our Team! – Cook

Wiggles and Giggles Child Care Centre in Leonayl is looking for a passionate, organised, and experienced cook to join our team. As a family-owned centre, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive and friendly work environment.

What you’ll do:

• Plan menus and manage stock levels

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for our 60 place centre daily

• Work with suppliers and manage weekly orders within budget

• Cater for food allergies and dietary requirements

• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and welcoming

What we’re looking for:

• Prior experience in a similar role

• Qualification in hospitality or commercial cookery

• First Aid certification (including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis)

• Working with Children Check (or eligibility to obtain)

• Food Handlers Certificate and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate

• Understanding of food allergies and dietary restrictions

• Right to work in Australia

• Early Childhood Education qualification (desirable)
