Join Western Cape College as Deputy Principal at the Weipa Primary Campus. This temporary opportunity is available from 13 July to 4 December 2026, with the possibility of extension.

As a member of the primary leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in leading the teaching and learning improvement agenda for Years 4-6, including curriculum and pedagogy, moderation, student case management and the Primary Positive Culture for Learning framework.

The role also includes oversight of operations and line management of teachers and support staff in the 4-6 sector.

This is a temporary full-time position until 4 December 2026, unless otherwise determined.

• Deputise for the Principal when required.
• Uphold the Deputy Principalship as a values-based, ethical, and moral activity.
• Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
