Hunter Mobile Preschool is a not-for-profit, community based service that has been providing preschool to children in rural and remote areas since 1979.

We are currently seeking a Certificate III Early Childhood Educator permanent part-time, 2 days per week – Thursday and Friday 8am - 5pm, starting immediately.  All days will start and finish at our Rutherford base. 

The successful applicant will meet the following Selection Criteria:

• A  Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or an ACECQA approved equivalent qualification

• A current Working with Children Check

• Current first aid, asthma and anaphylaxis training

• Current drivers licence, you will be required to drive an LDV Deliver 9 Van 

• Current Child Protection Training (or the willingness to obtain)

• An understanding of the National Regulations, National Quality Framework, and Early Years Learning Framework

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to work cooperatively and productively with staff, families and children.

• Experience in an Early Childhood Education setting.

Employment conditions will be according to the NES and Children’s Services Award – permanent part time.
