St Joseph's Primary School, Gloucester is seeking a Temporary Part Time (0.4FTE on Tuesdays and Fridays) Teacher to join the team for Terms 3 & 4, 2026.
St Joseph’s is a small Catholic primary school situated in the heart of Gloucester, boasting inclusive education that is designed to meet the individual learning needs of all students. The small class sizes are staffed by a very committed team who are dedicated to delivering quality education in a supportive and caring environment. Staff and students have access to the latest learning technology including iPads, laptops, Smartboards and video conferencing facilities. This technology gives students access to the wider world and gives them the opportunity to be a part of a virtual classroom where they can build upon their skills with like-minded students in other locations. Students of St Joseph's Primary School, Gloucester are encouraged to continue their Catholic education for Years 7 to 12 by attending St Clare's High School, Taree.
Teachers in a Catholic school have a unique role to play and are assigned with the task of ensuring each child has the opportunity to grow both academically and spiritually and to live purposeful lives.
The teacher will promote the school as a place of learning and excellence in accordance with contemporary evidence-based learning and wellbeing principles (including digital learning) and will ensure the ongoing development and implementation of pedagogical practices that impact on student learning outcomes. The teacher will acknowledge and agree to the requirement to work within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.

Salary is in accordance with New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2025.
