We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated Diploma-qualified Educator or Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our small, family-friendly centre.

Candidates must hold either a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching qualification.

As an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) or Diploma-Qualified Educator, you will possess:

  • A minimum of 2–5 years' experience as an Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma-qualified Educator, with experience working with children aged 0–6 years.

  • A strong understanding of, and ability to implement, a high-quality educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF).

  • The ability to engage in ongoing critical reflection, planning, and evaluation to support continuous improvement in teaching and learning outcomes.

  • A commitment to fostering a culture of reflection, growth, and enjoyment, while creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to children's learning, development, and wellbeing.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

  • As a ECT you will need to have strong leadership capabilities, with a willingness to listen, coach, mentor, and reflect alongside team members to support their professional growth.

  • The ability to inspire, motivate, and support a collaborative team environment.

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

  • A sound understanding of contemporary child safety practices, including child protection and safeguarding responsibilities.

  • Current Working with Children Check, criminal background check, First Aid certification, and Anaphylaxis training are required.
