About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable High School Mathematics Tutor to join our team. This face-to-face role involves working with students from Years 7–12 in a supportive learning environment.

You will:

• Deliver engaging one-to-one and small group mathematics lessons

• Support students with schoolwork, assignments and exam preparation

• Adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs

• Build student confidence and encourage a positive attitude towards learning

• Provide feedback to parents and the centre director when required

Essential Requirements

• Strong understanding of NSW Stage 4–6 Mathematics

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly

• Reliable, organised and professional

• Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Available afternoons and/or evenings during school terms

Desirable

• Teaching qualification or currently studying Education, Mathematics, Engineering, Science or a related field

• Tutoring or teaching experience

• Experience supporting diverse learners
