About the Role

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Primary School English & Mathematics Tutor to join our growing team.

You will work with students from Kindergarten to Year 6, supporting literacy and numeracy development through engaging and personalised lessons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face tutoring sessions in English and Mathematics

• Support students with reading, writing, spelling and numeracy skills

• Adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities

• Encourage confidence, independence and a love of learning

• Communicate student progress with the centre director

Essential Requirements

• Strong literacy and numeracy skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Positive, patient and encouraging approach with children

• Reliable and professional attitude

• Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Availability during after-school tutoring hours

Desirable

• Teaching qualification or currently studying Education

• Previous tutoring, teaching, childcare or education experience

• Knowledge of the NSW Curriculum

• Experience supporting students with additional learning needs
