About the Role

As a Casual Educator, you will:

• Build positive and meaningful relationships with children and families

• Support the implementation of engaging learning experiences

• Contribute to a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment

• Work collaboratively with fellow educators and leadership

• Assist in maintaining high standards of care, education and compliance

What We're Looking For

We're looking for educators who bring warmth, enthusiasm and professionalism to their role and who are passionate about creating environments where children feel safe, supported and inspired to learn. Whether you're an experienced educator or newly qualified and looking to build your experience, Una Highfields offers a welcoming and supportive environment where you can grow your career while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

Essential:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Current Blue Card

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)

• Current Child Protection Training (CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk, or equivalent approved training)

• Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
