About the Role

As the 2nd Early Childhood Teacher, you will:

• Collaborate with the existing ECT and educational team to deliver high-quality educational programs

• Support children's learning, wellbeing and development through intentional teaching practices

• Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community

• Contribute to curriculum planning, critical reflection and continuous improvement processes

• Support educators in implementing the Early Years Learning Framework

• Foster a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment for all children

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating meaningful learning opportunities that support every child to reach their full potential. You will be a strong communicator, a collaborative team member and someone who is excited to work alongside another ECT to strengthen teaching practice and educational outcomes across the service.

Essential:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education

• Current Blue Card

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)

• Current Child Protection Training (CHCPRT025 – Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk, or equivalent approved training)

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG), National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• A genuine passion for children's learning and development

Desirable:

• Previous experience working in long day care or kindergarten programs

• Experience supporting curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives

• Knowledge of inclusive practices and contemporary early childhood pedagogy
