An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Trainer & Assessor to join our team in a full-time position based in Bundaberg, Queensland. This role offers a mix of local and off-site training delivery and is ideal for a passionate trainer committed to developing safe and competent workforces across a range of high-risk and safety-related sectors.
About the Role
As a Trainer & Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering nationally recognised training courses, conducting assessments, maintaining training records, and ensuring all training is delivered in accordance with legislative and RTO requirements. Some travel and off-site training delivery will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and compliant training courses.
Conduct practical and theoretical assessments.
Prepare training resources and maintain accurate records.
Ensure training is delivered in accordance with industry standards and legislation.
Travel to client sites to facilitate training when required.
Promote a strong safety culture and positive learning environment.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must hold the relevant qualifications and competencies to deliver and assess the following
RII Units
Working at Heights
Elevated Work Platform (under 11m)
Confined Space Entry
Gas Test Atmospheres
Provide First Aid
CPR
LVR/CPR
White Card – Construction Induction
High Risk Work Licences:
Forklift (LF)
Elevated Work Platform (WP) – Over 11m
Dogging (DG)
Additional Requirements
Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
Current driver's licence
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to travel and deliver training off-site when required
Previous experience delivering nationally recognised training programs
Commitment to safety and quality outcomes
