Early Education Teacher – Semester 2

About the Role 

We are seeking an enthusiastic Early year’s classroom teacher to take on this fixed term, full-time role teaching a Pre-Primary class from Term 3 through the remainder of 2026 with a possible position in 2027. 

The successful applicant will be able to plan and implement a differentiated academic program to cater for a wide range of students’ needs and be able to foster inclusive, supportive learning environments. 

Selection Criteria 

Qualifications and experience for this role include: 

• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent. 

• Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia. 

• A comprehensive working knowledge and understanding of an inquiry approach to teaching and learning. 

• Display excellent planning, incorporating Learning Assets across all areas of the curriculum, providing opportunities for hands-on, play-based opportunities for discovery and developing curiosity. 

• Experience in curriculum differentiation and modifying learning tasks to meet specific educational needs. 

• Knowledge and understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum. 

• Familiarity with ICT and the use of technology in the classroom. 

• Demonstrated competence in classroom management. 

• Demonstrates a sound understanding of the content and pedagogy necessary to teach and assess the Australian Curriculum and NQS, and (if applicable) EYLF
