At Shared Beginnings, we’re looking for a nurturing, confident and passionate Nursery Room Leader to lead our Nursery room (1-2) and create a calm, loving and responsive environment where some of our youngest learners feel safe, secure, and celebrated every day.

This is a hands-on leadership role where relationships, routines and intentional practice truly matter.

👶 What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading a high-quality Nursery program focused on attachment, responsiveness, and wellbeing
• Creating predictable, nurturing routines for sleep, feeding and play
• Mentoring and supporting educators to deliver best practice in infant care
• Building strong, trusting partnerships with families during this special first stage of learning
• Ensuring safe, stimulating and developmentally appropriate learning environments
• Maintaining strong documentation, compliance, and alignment with EYLF v2.0
• Championing child safety, wellbeing, and inclusive practice

🌟 What You’ll Bring

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved)
• Experience leading or working confidently within a Nursery setting
• Deep understanding of infant development, attachment theory, and responsive caregiving
• Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and child-safe practices
• Calm, warm leadership style with excellent communication skills
• A genuine love for working with babies and supporting families
