We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Foundation (Reception) Teacher to join our team, commencing in Term 3, 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a meaningful impact during a key stage of our students’ learning journey. This position is initially offered on a part-time basis, with the potential to increase to a full-time role in 2027 (subject to enrolments).
• Part-time Contract – 0.4-0.6 FTE (negotiable)
• Potential for transition to full-time position in 2027, subject to enrolment demand
• Commencing Term 3
About the Role
This role suits an educator who thrives in a vibrant early learning environment, can think on their feet, and brings energy, creativity, and warmth to their classroom each day.
You will play an important role in nurturing a smooth, engaging, and supportive classroom environment, including:
· Delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for Foundation students
· Fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
· Building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
· Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated Junior Primary team
· Contributing positively to the broader life of the school
About You
You are organised, calm, and nurturing, with a genuine passion for supporting young children as they begin their school journey. You understand the importance of building strong relationships and creating a classroom where every child feels safe, known, and valued.
You are:
· A qualified and registered teacher (or eligible for registration in South Australia)
· Passionate about early years education and student wellbeing
· An effective communicator with strong organisational skills
· Committed to continuous improvement and professional growth
· A personal commitment to Christian education and modelling Christian values
