The Opportunity As the Room Leader for our Toddler Room (2 years – 2.6 years), you will:
- Lead and inspire a team of educators through positive role modelling and mentorship
- Create a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment for children
- Develop and implement educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Build strong, genuine relationships with children, families and the wider community
- Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through play-based experiences
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Work collaboratively with the Centre Leadership Team to drive quality outcomes
- Foster a positive team culture built on trust, collaboration and continuous improvement
- Work across a rotating roster between 6:30am and 6:30pm
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Educator
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, mentor and motivate a team
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities
- A genuine passion for partnering with families and creating a welcoming community environment
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- A positive, professional and collaborative approach
