The Town is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate part-time Library Officer to work at Bay View Community Centre Library. This role requires availability on Thursdays from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, with additional shifts available based on site requirements.
This role will work with the Town’s small but dedicated library team to:
Assist library users by providing exceptional customer service.
Process new resources/stock such as covering and accessioning.
Manage, deliver and promote the home delivery program.
Utilise library software (Spydus) to record library stock movements and assist with collection management and exchanges.
Shelve library items.
