Frontline Education WA is partnering with an established independent school located south of Perth to recruit a dedicated Secondary English Teacher for a permanent position commencing Semester 2.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum and SCSA requirements
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and achievement
  • Develop and implement effective assessment and reporting practices
  • Differentiate learning to cater for a range of student abilities and learning needs
  • Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, moderation and resource development
  • Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community

What we are looking for

  • Recognised teaching qualification and current TRBWA registration or eligibility
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Secondary English
  • Strong knowledge of the WA Curriculum and contemporary teaching practices
  • Excellent classroom management and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Full Australian working rights
