We’re looking for a passionate trainer who can bring Security Operations training to life. You’ll guide students through engaging sessions, support them through assessment, and contribute your expertise to enhance and refine our training programs.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 / TAE40116 / TAE40110).

• Certificate II & III in Security Operations.

• Security Agent Licence (Crowd Control, General Guarding, Body Guarding).

• Candidates must hold a current Security Agent Licence with the Security Industry Trainer endorsement at the time of application.

• Candidates are required to engage in continuous professional development activities to maintain both their VET sector currency and current industry skills.

Desirable / Beneficial Qualifications:

Candidates with the following qualifications and industry experience may also be considered for expanded opportunities within our team:

• Chief Warden Certification.

• Advanced First Aid certifications.

• Certificate IV in Security and Risk Management.

• Certificate III in Investigative Services.

Other Requirements:

• Driver's Licence (Class C)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, industry-relevant training at our facility and client sites, tailoring your approach to suit diverse students.

• Travel to corporate locations to deliver high-quality training in a range of environments.

• May include some travel to regional locations and overnight stays (infrequent).

• Accurately assess student competency and provide clear, constructive feedback to support student progression and success.

• Maintain accurate, and compliant training records and documentation in line with VET and organisational standards.

• Ensure all training resources and equipment is well-maintained and that training environments are safe, professional, and effective.

• Actively maintain and develop your skills in training, assessment, and the security industry through ongoing professional development.

• Stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and best practice across both the security and VET sectors.

• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve training programs, delivery methods, and student outcomes.

• Represent the organisation professionally when interacting with students, clients, and stakeholders.

• Demonstrate reliability and flexibility in a casual role, with an opportunity to transition to a permanent part-time position.
