About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Timetable and Teaching Services Officer to support the smooth delivery of teaching operations across our academic programs.
This role plays a key part in coordinating teaching schedules, supporting academic staffing processes, maintaining accurate timetable data, and ensuring effective operational support for staff and students. Working closely with education teams and academic departments, you will help ensure a seamless teaching and learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
Allocate academic staff to classes based on approved availability and eligibility
Coordinate emergency teaching cover and timetable changes during teaching periods
Maintain accurate scheduling, staffing, and teaching services data
Support onboarding processes for new academic staff
Assist with pay forms, teaching hour verification, and casual staff timesheet processing
Assist with room bookings and timetable adjustments to minimise scheduling conflicts
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
Essential
Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in administration, scheduling, or education operations
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capability
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
High level of competency in Microsoft Office and information systems
Can work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
Desirable
Experience in timetabling, staff scheduling, or teaching operations
Experience working within higher education or a commercial education environment
Experience supporting international students or English language programs
