About the role
The Graduate Program is designed to provide teachers with comprehensive training in all aspects of teaching and education.
As a Graduate Teacher at ICOM, you will begin your teaching career within a structured and supportive environment designed to build your confidence and professional capability.
You will guide and support students academically within a positive and well-managed learning environment. Working collaboratively with a supportive team, you will contribute to curriculum planning, assessment, student wellbeing initiatives, and the broader life of the College.
Duties
Deliver engaging, differentiated Primary/Secondary curriculum across key learning areas
Design and implement student wellbeing and pastoral care strategies
Collaborate with the Primary/Secondary team on curriculum planning and school events
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate assessment and reporting records
Contribute to the educational, cultural, and community life of the College
Skills & experience
Relevant tertiary qualification in Education (Bachelor of Education or equivalent)
Commitment to the values and ethos of a faith-based school community
