Firbank Grammar School is seeking a dedicated ELC 3 Co-Educator to work in the Early Learning Centre at our Sandringham Campus. We are looking for team member who shares our passion for providing the best possible care and high-quality learning support for children aged between 3-4 years old. Job Details:

• Immediate or Term 3 commencement
• Full-time position (1.0FTE), Monday to Friday 10am-6pm
• 5 Weeks annual leave

Key Responsibilities:

Your role within the ELC will be to assist in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate program for individual children or groups of 3- and 4-year-olds. You will work well in a collaborative environment and be able to communicate effectively with children, providing a safe, clean and welcoming environment. Other duties and tasks may include:

• Assist with the provision of learning equipment and materials
• Help in the day-to-day running of the program
• Arrange suitable displays and documentation of children's work
• Help in supervising children at all times
• identify and address child safety risks

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma of Children's Services
• Current WWCC (employee)
• First Aid and CPR Certificate (mandatory before commencement)
• Be an exceptional team player
• Great communicator, with exceptional listening skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
