We are seeking a customer-focused and enthusiastic professional to join our Library and Customer Service team. Working under the direction of the Librarian Programs & Partnerships or Library Supervisor, you will collaborate across the organisation to deliver high-quality library, museum and customer service outcomes for our community. This diverse role provides the opportunity to engage with a wide range of customers while contributing to a positive and welcoming environment.
In this role, you will assist in delivering library services, planning and facilitating library programs and events, maintaining library collections, and responding to customer enquiries and complaints. You will also work closely with other Council departments to coordinate information requests and support customer service functions, while accurately processing and reconciling financial transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, providing exceptional service, and contributing to the success of community-focused programs and services.

Develop and deliver engaging library programs and activities that reflect community interests, emerging trends and best-practice service delivery.
Skills & Experience
Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn and support a range of technologies and online platforms.
Reliable transport and willingness to work across all Cassowary Coast library branches.
Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Queensland Working with Children (Blue Card).
