About the Role

We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Educator to join our team. In this role, you will:

• Build positive, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

• Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of a high-quality educational program using the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

• Monitor and document the individual learning progress of children.

• Supervising the daily activities of children

• Guide, mentor, and supervise room-based staff, including Assistant Educators, students, and volunteers.

• Act as the primary point of contact for families regarding their child's progress and daily routines.

• Ensure the room operates in accordance with the National Quality Standards (NQS) and all Education and Care Services National Laws and Regulations.

• Promote and model safe, inclusive, and engaging practices that uphold the rights and dignity of every child.

• Managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development

• Work collaboratively within a supportive team and maintain professionalism in line with our Code of Conduct.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care – at a level of AQF Diploma or above. Or alternatively, at least three years of relevant work experience.

• A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).

• Relevant ACECQA approved Child Protection Training or the willingness to obtain.

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

• A genuine passion for safeguarding children and supporting their learning and development.

Experience in early learning or related settings will be highly regarded.
