Patrician Brothers' College Blacktown is seeking a passionate and dedicated English and HSIE Teacher to join our dynamic learning community in an ongoing permanent full-time position. Applicants with the capacity to teach Religious Education and/or other subjects are highly regarded.

This role will be teaching students from Year 7 - Year 10. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

You will bring

• Qualifications and experience in teaching English, HSIE and/or Religious Education
• Capacity to teach in a workshop environment to meet NESA requirements
• Strong pedagogical knowledge and an understanding of how students learn in TAS
• The ability to differentiate teaching to meet diverse learning needs
• Effective classroom practice, including planning, assessment and feedback
• A commitment to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
• The ability to work collaboratively within and beyond the school community
• A passion for motivating students and fostering a lifelong love of learning
• Experience in construction or related industry areas and/or the capacity to teach VET Construction or Religious Education is desirable but not essential

Essential Requirements

• Valid Working with Children Check
• Eligibility to teach in NSW in accordance with NESA requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (minimum 4-year degree or 75% complete)
• Qualifications and experience in teaching Industrial Technology and Technology
• Statements of Service
