LORDS Little Wonders Kindergarten 

Nestled amongst almost 20 hectares of natural bushland between Ormeau and Pimpama is the youngest school in the QLD Lutheran School District; LORDS (Lutheran Ormeau Rivers District School). From Kindergarten to Year 12, our community is focused on serving with hands, head, and heart in a Christ-centred environment.

Our youngest students are able to start their LORDS journey with LORDS Little Wonders. Our Kindergarten program is offered through a Pre-Prep program within the beautiful secure setting of nurturing environments. The children have the opportunity to grow and learn in natural and supportive indoor and outdoor areas. Our priority is to deliver a smooth transition into the Prep environment next door.

LORDS Little Wonders has the advantage of being a Kindergarten service with our opening hours between 6:30am to 6:00pm. Our Kindergarten also includes Lutheran faith by teaching our children about the core values. Through prayer and community involvement of local congregations. A large component of which we cherish as a valuable part of our service.

Permanent

37.5 Hrs per week

5 hours programming plus extended time during school holidays

About the role

The right applicant will be passionate about being in childcare and providing children with a healthy environment that is both positive and motivating.  They must be able to work in a small team, be proactive, willing to undertake professional development, and possess the following:

• University qualification in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent approved certification

• Current Blue Card (Paid) is mandatory

• Current First aid certification

• Christian ethos
