About the Role
As the Training Services Lead, you will play a key role in end-to-end coordination, administration, and support of training programs to ensure effective delivery, compliance and positive outcomes for learners and stakeholders. This role supports, plans, organises, and monitors accredited and non-accredited training activities, manages schedules, venues, resources, learner support and materials to support smooth program delivery.
Key Responsibilities
As Training Services Lead, you will:
Oversee accurate training records management, including enrolments, attendance, learner progress, outcomes, completions, and student file finalisation
Lead student administration processes, including eligibility checks, training plans, invoicing set-up and LMS access
Ensure the effective use, functionality and continuous improvement of Student Management System and integrated learning systems
Coordinate accredited and non-accredited training programs, including schedules, venues, materials, learner support and resources
Ensure training delivery and administration complies with contractual, legislative, and RTO regulatory requirements
Work with internal teams, employers, training partners and industry contacts to support training needs
Assist trainers, managers and students by answering questions, solving issues and improving the training experience
About You
You will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional who enjoys working independently and building trusted relationships within the community. You will bring:
Sound hands-on experience in training and administration roles within RTOs, with minimum 3-5 years’ experience.
Experience in a similar VET/RTO environment with knowledge of the interpretation and applications of Standards for RTOs and relevant State Funding Contracts
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrate organisational skills with proven ability to motivate and support team members to achieve outcomes.
Highly organised to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Technical proficiency – competence in using Microsoft Office, experience with Student Management Systems (aXcelerate – highly desirable)
Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance.
Excellent Customer Service and stakeholder engagement skills
A current driver's licence and ability to travel interstate (where required)
