We believe that teaching children through nature is one of the most nurturing and meaningful ways for them to understand the world they are growing up in. Our privately run Early Learning Centre is located in the northern suburbs of Perth, where the natural environment becomes an extension of the classroom. Children engage in regular learning experiences outdoors, including weekly nature walks through the surrounding bushland and local parks. We place a strong emphasis on community, helping children develop a deep sense of belonging and connection to the world around them. Our educators design, implement, and evaluate innovative, contemporary programs grounded in current early childhood research and best practice, ensuring learning experiences are both purposeful and engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting and delivering a quality education program based on the individual needs of each child based on the National Quality Framework

• Understanding and ability in building respectful and trusting relationship with each individual child and families

• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for the children and adequate supervise children to ensure that they are protected from harm and hazard

• Work collaborative with all educators and families and communicate effectively in a team environment

• Engage in community walks and excursions with our children

Qualified Room Leader to join our current experienced team of educators in both leading and assisting rooms with planning and documentation while growing our children in their individual learning journeys.

Successful candidates will be highly motivated and passionate about the Early Childhood sector and must have the following:

• Previous experience as a Room Leader

• Diploma of Early Childhood or working towards required

• Solid Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Regulations and National Quality Standards

• You will have excellent communication skills, and ability to build trusted relationships with families and the wider community.

What else you will need to bring

• A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain

• Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain

• Available to work Monday to Friday between 6.30am – 6:30pm

Salary $76,000-$80,000 annually (AUD)
