We are always open to improving our practice and we actively value the ideas and perspectives of our team. And yes, FUN is one of the pillars of our philosophy.
Alongside a supportive and passionate team, you’ll enjoy:
Up to 70% staff discounts on childcare fees
Annual Christmas parties for all teams
Team building days
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Paid professional development
Clear opportunities for career growth and promotion
12 weeks paid annual leave (aligned with school term breaks)
12.5 hours of dedicated planning and non-contact time each week
At KingKids, we are here for the children. As our 4-Year-Old Kindergarten Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping children's early learning experiences and supporting their successful transition to school and beyond.
You will lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of a high-quality kindergarten program that is engaging, inclusive and responsive to the individual strengths, interests and needs of every child. Through purposeful teaching, meaningful play experiences and intentional learning opportunities, you will foster children's confidence, independence, resilience, curiosity and lifelong love of learning.
Working closely with families, educators and community partners, you will create a warm, welcoming and supportive environment where children feel safe, valued and empowered to reach their full potential. You will also provide leadership and mentorship to your teaching team, supporting reflective practice, professional growth and a culture of continuous improvement.
As a child-safe service, the health, safety and wellbeing of every child is central to everything we do. You will champion children's rights, embed child-safe practices into daily operations and ensure every child experiences a sense of belonging, inclusion and security throughout their kindergarten journey.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated teacher who is committed to educational excellence, strong relationships and making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.
You will bring:
A Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA-recognised equivalent
Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
A strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework (NQF)
A current Working With Children Check (or equivalent)
A current Police Check
A commitment to the Child Safe Standards
You are a positive, motivated team player who values collaboration, reflective practice, and continuous improvement.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
