Lambda Education Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Compliance Manager to oversee and maintain compliance across all regulatory and operational requirements of the organisation. The Compliance Manager will ensure that the organisation meets its obligations under the ASQA Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2025, the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act 2000, the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018 (and subsequent updates), and other relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing quality assurance systems, compliance monitoring, audits, regulatory reporting, and continuous improvement activities while supporting the organisation’s commitment to delivering high-quality education and training services.
Ensure ongoing compliance with:
o ASQA Standards for RTOs 2025
o ESOS Act 2000
o National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students
o Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)
o Standards for VET Accredited Courses
o Privacy Act and related legislation
o Other relevant Commonwealth and State regulatory requirements.
Develop, implement, review, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, systems, and frameworks.
Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and advise management on compliance implications.
Lead internal compliance reviews and audits.
Coordinate and manage ASQA audits, compliance assessments, and regulatory inspections.
Prepare compliance reports for senior management and governing bodies.
Maintain thorough oversight and management of PRISMS (Provider Registration and International Student Management System).
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of student enrolments, variations, cancellations, course progress, attendance matters, and completions through PRISMS.
Monitor compliance with student visa conditions and reporting obligations.
Ensure all international student records are maintained in accordance with ESOS requirements.
Provide advice and support regarding international student compliance obligations.
Establish and maintain quality assurance systems across all educational operations.
Monitor compliance risks and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct regular compliance reviews and gap analyses.
Maintain continuous improvement registers and action plans.
Support academic and operational teams in implementing compliance requirements.
Lead and supervise compliance-related staff and activities.
Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to staff regarding compliance requirements.
Foster a culture of compliance, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Work collaboratively with academic, student services, admissions, and administration teams.
Manage compliance projects and initiatives within agreed timelines.
Ensure policies, procedures, forms, and compliance documentation remain current and compliant.
Maintain accurate records and evidence required for audits and regulatory reporting.
Oversee document control systems and compliance registers.
· Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Management, Compliance, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a compliance management role within the VET, Higher Education, ELICOS, or international education sector.
Demonstrated experience managing ASQA compliance requirements.
Proven experience working with international student compliance obligations under the ESOS framework.
Extensive experience using and managing PRISMS.
Experience preparing for and managing regulatory audits.
