About the Role

As Centre Director, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the service while driving a positive culture focused on quality, compliance and exceptional outcomes for children.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of educators

• Building a positive and collaborative team culture

• Maintaining strong relationships with families and the local community

• Ensuring compliance with the National Quality Framework and National Law

• Managing staffing, occupancy, compliance and operational requirements

• Supporting high-quality play-based learning programs

• Driving continuous improvement across the service

This role offers the opportunity to lead with confidence while being supported by an experienced Operations and Leadership Team committed to your success.

About You

You are an experienced and inspiring leader who:

• Has previous experience as a Centre Director or Centre Manager

• Is passionate about early childhood education and care

• Builds strong relationships with educators, families and children

• Demonstrates sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework

• Leads with professionalism, integrity and accountability

• Has the ability to motivate, mentor and develop teams

Essential Requirements

✔ Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care

✔ Current Paid Blue Card

✔ Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification

✔ CHCPRT025 – Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk

✔ Completion of mandatory National Child Safety Training requirements

✔ Previous Centre Director or Centre Manager experience

✔ Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

✔ Experience with QikKids (desirable)
