ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a part-time, fixed term position. The successful candidate will be primarily based at West Perth Campus, reporting to the Program Manager - Business, Leadership & Management, ICT and PYP.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality training and assessment across ACS Professional Year and VET programs, ensuring students develop the skills, knowledge, and workplace readiness required for successful professional careers. You will facilitate engaging learning experiences, support student progression and employability outcomes, maintain compliance with ACS, ASQA, and VET Quality Framework requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with students, industry partners, and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure training programs remain industry-relevant, compliant, and aligned with the College’s commitment to quality education, graduate employability, and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality training and assessment across ACS Professional Year and VET programs through face-to-face, online, and blended learning environments.
• Develop and maintain learning resources, assessment tools, and training materials aligned with industry standards and program requirements.
• Monitor student progress, attendance, engagement, and academic performance while providing timely feedback and academic support.
• Prepare students for professional practice, employability outcomes, internships, placements, and workplace expectations.
• Ensure compliance with ACS requirements, ASQA standards, the VET Quality Framework, and internal quality assurance processes.
• Maintain accurate student records, assessment documentation, and reporting requirements.
• Participate in assessment validation, moderation, audits, and continuous improvement activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, employers, and host organisations to enhance student outcomes and program relevance.
• Contribute to student engagement initiatives, program development, and strategic faculty objectives.
• Support innovation, process improvement, workplace safety, and organisational projects as required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications and Experience:

• Relevant qualification in ICT, Business, Leadership & Management, or a related discipline relevant to the programs being delivered.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent.
• Current and relevant industry experience within the applicable vocational field.
• Demonstrated experience delivering training and assessment in a VET, Higher Education, or ACS Professional Year environment.
• Understanding of ACS Professional Year Program requirements, graduate employability, and internship or placement processes.
• Experience developing learning resources, conducting assessments, and supporting diverse student cohorts.
• Experience working within compliance frameworks and quality assurance processes is highly desirable.

• Strong understanding of the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong industry knowledge with the ability to connect theory to real-world practice.
• Proficiency in digital learning platforms, educational technologies, and e-learning tools.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
