Villanova College is seeking a passionate and capable Business Studies Teacher to join our teaching community, commencing Term 3 2026.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, effective classroom practice and a commitment to engaging students through contemporary teaching and learning approaches.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Business Studies across relevant year levels, delivering curriculum aligned with QCAA Senior Syllabuses
Plan and deliver engaging, academically rigorous learning experiences for students in Years 9–11
Design and implement effective assessment and feedback practices aligned to QCAA requirements
Monitor student achievement and use evidence to inform teaching and improve outcomes
Contribute to faculty planning, moderation and curriculum development within the Business Studies learning areas
Maintain a positive, inclusive and academically focused classroom environment
About You
The successful applicant will:
Hold a relevant Bachelor of Education or equivalent, with qualifications to teach Business Studies
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the QCAA Senior Business syllabus, including program design and assessment practices
Bring energy, subject passion and a commitment to engaging young men in contemporary business concepts
Build positive relationships with students, colleagues and the wider College community
Support the spiritual life and mission of the College, consistent with its Catholic and Augustinian ethos
Hold current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration
