CASUAL QUALIFIED EDUCATORS

We are currently seeking qualified Educators to join the team!

AS AN EDUCATOR YOU WILL

• Be looking for a career with School-Aged Children

• Be responsible for supporting children throughout before school care, after school care and vacation care sessions

• Develop respectful and reciprocal relationships with children to nurture their wellbeing and play-based learning

• Contribute to the culture of the service by collaborating with members of the team to promote opportunities for children's development

• Implement the service's program and actively supervise children while they participate in a range of activities each day

• Respond to children's needs and interests, ensuring safety and wellbeing

• Support the service to be organized and tidy

• Supervise the use of and maintain resources and equipment

• Contribute to ongoing improvement through critical reflection

WHAT YOUR HOURS WILL LOOK LIKE

Work Life Balance - Benefit from the flexibility of split shifts, allowing you to tailor your work hours to fit your lifestyle and achieve a balance between personal and professional pursuits.

Staff are rostered between the following hours, subject to availability.

Before School Care 5.45am - 9.30am

After School Care 2.00pm - 6.30pm

Vacation Care 5.45am - 6.00pm

WHAT YOU NEED:

• Valid Working with Children Check – Blue Card

• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificate (or willing to obtain)

• Full rights to work in Australia

• Valid QLD Driver's License

• Have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education/School Aged Children (or an approved Diploma level qualification recognised by ACECQA) OR working towards.
