We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable educator to join our team in a float role supporting our Pre-Kindy and two Kindergarten rooms. This position is for four days per week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and involves working across all three rooms, covering both lunch breaks and programming/planning time, ensuring continuity of care and high-quality learning experiences for children. The ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable and confident transitioning between age groups and routines, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
 
A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (or currently working towards) is essential, along with a genuine passion for early learning and a commitment to supporting children's development in a nurturing environment.
 
Our centre is open from 6:45am and 5:45pm and staff are required to work an allocated shift within this span of hours, in accordance with a roster provided in advance i.e. some days will be an early start, other days may be a later start and a late finish.

About the role:
 
As an Assistant Educator, you will play a key role in supporting the provision of a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where young children can learn, grow and thrive. Working under the direction of Lead Educators and ECT's, you will help to implement daily routines, educational activities and care practices that promote each child's physical, emotional, social and cognitive development. You will assist with supervising children, preparing learning materials, maintaining a clean and organised environment and fostering positive relationships with children, families and colleagues. Ultimately, their role is to contribute to the wellbeing and development of every child by providing consistent, compassionate, and high-quality care. You'll be a role model to others and provide an environment where children feel safe, seen and celebrated.
 
We're looking for someone who:

• Holds a Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education & Care (or working towards) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Holds up to date First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates as well as a Paid Blue Card
• Has prior experience in an Early Childhood setting
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQF and NQS
• Has an interest in Enquiry Based Learning
• Has a heart for young children and a commitment to Christian values.
• Can lead with warmth, confidence and creativity.
• Thrives in a team environment and values collaboration.
• Communicates effectively with children, families and colleagues.
• Bush or Beach Kindy experience would be advantageous
