An excellent opportunity has become available for a passionate and dedicated Secondary English and/or Humanities Teachers to join a well-established F–12 independent school located in Melbourne's western suburbs.

As a Secondary English/Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging and meaningful learning experiences that inspire students to develop critical thinking, literacy, and analytical skills. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment while contributing to the broader life of the school community.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning, delivering and assessing engaging curriculum programs.
Creating a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Monitoring student progress and providing meaningful feedback.
Supporting student wellbeing and pastoral care initiatives.
Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and best practice.
Contributing to co-curricular, cultural and community activities.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education.
Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.
A commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence.
The ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
Alignment with the values and ethos of the school community.
