An excellent opportunity has become available for a passionate and dedicated Secondary English and/or Humanities Teachers to join a well-established F–12 independent school located in Melbourne's western suburbs.

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our Secondary team in one of the following teaching opportunities:

• Secondary English & Humanities Teacher

• Secondary English Teacher

• Secondary Humanities Teacher

• VCE English Teacher

About the Role

As a Secondary English/Humanities Teacher, you will deliver engaging and meaningful learning experiences that inspire students to develop critical thinking, literacy, and analytical skills. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment while contributing to the broader life of the school community.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, delivering and assessing engaging curriculum programs.

• Creating a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment.

• Monitoring student progress and providing meaningful feedback.

• Supporting student wellbeing and pastoral care initiatives.

• Collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and best practice.

• Contributing to co-curricular, cultural and community activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education.

• Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.

• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills.

• A commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence.

• The ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

• Alignment with the values and ethos of the school community.
