An exciting opportunity exists to join the Student Support Branch, Behaviour team as a Principal Advisor, Student Behaviour.
This is a temporary full-time position until 23 July 2027, unless otherwise determined, located in Central Office, Brisbane.

About the Role:
In this role, you will lead and coordinate strategic and operational activities that support student behaviour, school discipline, and emerging priorities across Queensland state schools. Working collaboratively across the department, you will provide project management, governance, and operational oversight to support the effective delivery of key initiatives and services.
The successful applicant will coordinate project planning and delivery, workforce management, financial administration, procurement, reporting, and governance activities. You will also contribute to research and analysis, policy and procedure development, and the implementation of initiatives that strengthen student behaviour practices and outcomes across Queensland state schools.
Responsibilities Include:
The Principal Advisor, Student Behaviour reports to the Director, Student Behaviour, State Schools Strategy, Department of Education, or nominated delegate.
