Malek Fahd Islamic School Ltd (MFIS) is a growing Kindergarten to Year 12 Muslim School with more than 3000 students across three campuses in the Sydney suburbs of Greenacre, Beaumont Hills, and Hoxton Park.

About the Role
The Teacher Librarian supports and enhances the educational goals of the School through effective library management and the delivery of comprehensive library services.
This role combines educator, collaborator, and information specialist responsibilities to promote a culture of reading, inquiry, information literacy, and lifelong learning across the school community.
Selection Criteria
Relevant teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.
Qualifications in Teacher Librarianship (or working toward).
Demonstrated commitment to literacy, inquiry learning, and information literacy development.
Strong knowledge of digital technologies and library information systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and build positive relationships with students and families.
Ability to model the ideals and values of the Islamic tradition and uphold the School’s Mission, Strategic Plan, and Code of Conduct.
Maintain awareness of contemporary educational and library practices to support the School’s strategic priorities.
