We are looking for a creative and passionate Arts Educator to join our team.

This role is for someone who enjoys art, creativity, and hands-on learning with children. You will help children explore ideas, try new things, and express themselves through art.

About the Role

As an Arts Educator, you will help children learn through creative art experiences.

You will work in our Atelier (art space) and other learning areas to support children’s creativity and ideas.

As an Arts Educator, you will:

• Run art and creative activities in the Atelier and learning spaces

• Help children use different art materials like paint, clay, and drawing tools

• Encourage children to share ideas and express themselves

• Work with educators to include art in daily learning programs

• Support children’s learning, creativity, wellbeing, and confidence

• Help record children’s learning and creative work

• Join team meetings and training sessions

• Work with the team to plan fun and creative learning experiences

• Keep a safe, calm, and welcoming creative space

• Follow child-safe rules and safe work practices

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience or qualification in Early Childhood Education (Certificate III or Diploma preferred, or working towards)

• Interest or background in visual arts or creative work

• A love for creativity and working with children

• A warm, caring, and positive attitude

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to learn and grow

• Confidence supporting children in creative activities

• A commitment to child safety and inclusion

• A current Working With Children Check

• First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to get these)
