The Opportunity
We are seeking passionate Lecturers to join our academic team and help drive the success of our Bachelor of Tourism & Hospitality Management in Semester 2, 2026. This is a discipline-specific role designed for educators who are dedicated to shaping the next generation of global tourism and hospitality professionals.
As a Lecturer at AAPoly, you won't just deliver content; you will bridge the gap between theory and industry practice, ensuring our students graduate with the skills needed to thrive in a competitive global landscape.
To be considered for this role, you MUST possess:
Specialised Qualifications: AQF Level 9 (Master’s Degree) or higher specifically in Tourism, Hospitality, or Hotel Management.
Please note: Due to regulatory requirements, applicants with degrees in General Business or unrelated fields will not be considered for this specific role.
Higher Education Experience: A demonstrated track record in Higher Education teaching or academic delivery within the Australian HESF/TEQSA framework.
Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of current trends and challenges within the global and local tourism and hospitality sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Program Coordinator, you will ensure our students receive a cutting-edge education through:
Exceptional Delivery: Facilitating engaging, practical, and industry-aligned learning experiences across our Bachelor program.
Student Success: Providing personalised academic support and mentoring to a diverse student body to ensure high retention and success rates.
Academic Integrity: Contributing to the development and moderation of assessments in line with AAPoly’s quality standards and HESF 2021 requirements.
Scholarly Activity: Engaging in ongoing professional development and scholarly research to remain at the forefront of the discipline.
