Youth Off The Streets is a not‑for‑profit organisation that provides safety, support and opportunities for young people to build a positive future. Our services include alternative high school education, crisis accommodation and housing support, alcohol and other drugs counselling, youth justice programs, life skills and employment pathways, cultural support and community engagement.

The Role:

We are looking for a Scholarships Administrator to support the delivery of our Scholarships and Mentoring Programs.

This role is a great opportunity to make an impact by coordinating scholarship program activities, supporting young people in their education journeys, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders including students, mentors, donors and internal teams. You will play a key role in ensuring the program runs smoothly, maintaining strong relationships, and supporting positive outcomes for young people.

What you'll do:

• Support the coordination and administration of the YOTS Scholarship Program, including recruitment, agreements and participant communication

• Maintain accurate records, data and program resources across systems

• Prepare reports, sponsor updates and support grant and donor activities

• Coordinate events, meetings and logistics, including the annual Scholarship Program Award Ceremony

• Liaise with students, mentors and stakeholders to provide information and support

• Manage enquiries, shared inbox and general correspondence

• Support surveys, reporting and continuous program improvement

• Provide general administrative support to the Scholarships and Mentoring Team

What you'll bring:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administration or similar role

• Certificate IV in Business Administration or similar qualification

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

• Proactive, flexible and solution‑focused approach

• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships

• Commitment to confidentiality, professional boundaries and ethical practice

Desirable:

• Experience supporting programs or projects in a not‑for‑profit, education or community services environment
