Pedagogical Leader – Job Description

The Pedagogical Leader is responsible for leading and enhancing the educational program and teaching practices across the service. This role supports educators to deliver high-quality, inclusive, and engaging learning experiences aligned with the EYLF, VEYLF, and National Quality Standard.

The Pedagogical Leader mentors and coaches the teaching team, fostering a culture of reflective practice, continuous improvement, and professional growth. They work collaboratively with leadership and educators to ensure strong curriculum outcomes, meaningful documentation, and consistent best practice.

This role also plays a key part in strengthening family partnerships, supporting child development, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including embedding the Child Safe Standards into everyday practice.
