About our Centre

Adventurers is a small family-owned centre that focusses on providing a fun educational program that prepares children for school. We value and develop our educators because we know that children who experience a high-quality early childhood education do better in school, and life.

About the role

We don’t expect you to know everything on Day 1 and will support you to develop your professional skills, but all team members must fit our core values:

  1. Fun: We create enjoyable learning environments that delight children

  2. Do the right thing: We work together as a team, showing respect, honesty, and integrity.

  3. Problem solver: We have a can-do attitude.

  4. Aim high: We set high standards for ourselves, our colleagues, and the children we educate.

  5. Responsive and reflective: And tuned into the needs of children, parents, and colleagues, which means our customers enjoy interacting with us and have exceptional customer experiences.

Child Safety

In addition to these values, you will play an active role in ensuring children’s safety, wellbeing, and participation: fundamental aspects of all roles at Adventurers. This includes following child safety procedures, maintaining awareness of child protection responsibilities, and contributing to a culture where every child feels safe, valued, and heard.

At Adventurers, we promote the rights of all children to participate, have a purpose and be protected from harm.  We help children achieve their potential by providing high quality play-based learning in a safe and inclusive environment – ensuring that our children and families thrive.

  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Employee Working with Children Check.

  • Participate in child-safety induction and ongoing training.
