About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and caring matured aged Bus Driver & Outside School Hours Care Educator to join our supportive team. This dual role involves safely transporting children and creating a warm, engaging learning environment during before and after school care.

Hours:

- Split shift during school terms: 5 hours a day 5 days a week

- 7:30am – 9:30am

- 2:30pm – 5:30pm

- Additional hours during school holidays, if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Bus Driver:

- Safely transport children to and from local schools and picking up of children from their homes.

- Conduct routine vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness.

- Follow all road safety protocols.

- Build positive relationships with children and their families.

As an Educator:

- Plan and deliver creative, fun activities for before and after school care.

- Supervise and support children’s safety, wellbeing, and development.

- Nurture children’s social and emotional skills with patience and kindness.

- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Requirements:

- A valid full driver’s license.

- 25 years of age or above.

- Minimum Certificate 3 in Children’s Services.

- Current First Aid (including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis) – or willingness to obtain.

- Current Working with Children Check.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for working with children.
