Trainer & Assessor – Laboratory Skills, Techniques and Operations

We’re looking for an experienced Laboratory Trainer & Assessor to join our rapidly expanding team.

ABC Training are the Laboratory Training Specialists, delivering industry-relevant training across multiple areas including construction materials, mining, medical, food, commodities and export/import, pharmaceutical, environmental science, and soil testing.

With continued growth in our industry laboratory and science-based training streams, we are seeking high-quality professionals who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience in laboratory operations, testing, and compliance.

Essential Criteria

• Significant practical experience in a laboratory environment ( construction materials, mining, medical, food, commodities and export/import, pharmaceutical, environmental science, and soil testing.).

• Strong understanding of NATA requirements and their application in laboratory settings.

• Relevant qualifications in Laboratory Operations, Environmental Science, Food Science, or a related discipline.

• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.

Desirable

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).

• Previous training, mentoring, or supervisory experience in a laboratory environment.

• High level of computer literacy.

• Accuracy and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with WHS and environmental legislation.
