Full time Diploma Educator or Early Childhood Teacher in Education and Care Services

Western Sydney University Early Learning Campbelltown is situated on the grounds of the Western Sydney University Campbelltown Campus, which is located off Goldsmith Ave Campbelltown. 

We are looking to fill a Full Time Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care or Early Childhood Teacher in position for immediate start. The position will comply with the conditions set out in the Western Sydney University Early Learning EA. 

Western Sydney University Early Learning educators are expected to be active members of the team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children. This includes always ensuring the implementation of WSUEL policies and procedures, developing strong supporting relationships with children, families, colleagues and community, and working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service operation.

Western Sydney University Early Learning is a child safe organisation. This position requires you to work with children and, as a condition of employment, you are required to undergo an NSW Working with Children Check and a National police Record Check.

To be a successful applicant you must have. 

Essential Criteria

·         Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching

·         Working with Children Check clearance and number for verification.

·         Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training

·         Mandatory Safety Training

·         DEC approved child protection training certificate

·         Sound understanding of the Early Learning Years Framework and ability to lead curriculum development.

·         Knowledge of overall health and Safety regarding Children’s Services

·         Effective communication skills both verbal and written
