We are seeking experienced Early Childhood Educators for an immediate start working at our service in West Gosford.

We are a child safe organisation committed to protecting children and young people from harm. Applicants must demonstrate a strong commitment to child safety, an understanding of child protection law and mandatory reporting obligations and the capacity to uphold child-safe practices at all times.

As part of our commitment to valuing and rewarding our dedicated early childhood educators, our service has chosen to opt-in for the Australian government's worker retention payment for early childood educators.

Depending on your experience, there may also be an opportunity to undertake a leadership role within the service.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of a Certificate III/Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (may also consider a traineeship position for the right candidate)

• Working With Children Check (WWCC) and current First Aid certificate

• Provide a copy of a recently completed National Police Check

• A passion for early childhood education and a positive, can-do attitude

Worker Retention Payment

In addition to the advertised hourly rate, employees in this role will also receive the Worker Retention Payment for Early Childhood Education and Care educators. This government-funded payment is paid on top of your regular wages and recognises the important work of early childhood professionals, in line with the program guidelines.

*The pay rate included in the advertisement is negotiable and dependent on the applicant's level of training and experience. Based on this, it may be lower than what Seek advertises.
