An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced leader to join a well-established, community-operated Outside School Hours Care service in Brisbane's north-west.
This newly created leadership role combines strategic leadership, compliance oversight and business management within a well-established OSHC service. The successful candidate will play a key role in building leadership capability, strengthening service operations and shaping the future direction of the service.
Our OSHC service is well-established, highly regarded and plays a significant role in supporting children, families and the wider school community.

Reporting to the Approved Provider, the Business Manager/Service Director will provide leadership across service operations, governance, compliance, people management and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced professional who can confidently operate with a high degree of autonomy while building capability, strengthening systems and driving service excellence.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Service leadership and continuous improvement
Leadership development and team mentoring
Strategic planning and organisational development
Human resources and workforce planning/recruitment
Financial oversight and budget management
Risk management and governance support
Stakeholder and community engagement
Approved Provider compliance obligations
National Quality Framework compliance and Assessment & Rating preparation
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the service, strengthening leadership capability and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes for children, families and staff.
You will bring:
Experience in a leadership role within OSHC, education, community services or a related sector
Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Law and National Regulations
Experience preparing for or participating in Assessment and Rating processes
Knowledge of Child Care Subsidy (CCS) requirements and service funding frameworks
Demonstrated experience leading teams and supporting staff development
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Confidence working with governance committees or boards
Sound financial and business management skills
A collaborative and solutions-focused approach
Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
Experience as a Nominated Supervisor, Responsible Person or Approved Provider representative
Qualifications in education, business, management, community services or a related field
Experience working within a community-operated, not-for-profit or P&C-governed service
