Your opportunity

Working under the direction of the Deputy Principal, Curriculum and Innovation, and the Head of Learning Enhancement and Support, you will play a key role in designing and delivering high-quality, inclusive learning enhancment and support programs for our secondary students.

You will work collaboratively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support diverse learners through targeted interventions and in-class support.

This role provides you with the opportunity to transform learning journeys for our students and their families. You will play a vital role in ensuring diverse learners are supported, challenged and celebrated to unlock student potential, build confidence and foster a lifelong love of learning.

• Create inclusive, high-impact learning enhancement and support programs for primary students

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to enhance differentiated practice

• Lead the development and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Student Support Statements

• Support compliance and best practice in NCCD and NAPLAN processes

• Work collaboratively with families, teachers and multi-disciplinary teams to support student wellbeing and achievement

• Provide nurturing pastoral care that builds student resilience, agency and self-belief

• Contribute actively to professional learning, reflective practice and College life

You will have:

• Queensland College of Teachers registration

• Demonstrated experience in learning enhancement/support settings

• Strong knowledge of NCCD, NAPLAN and inclusive education practices

• Experience developing and implementing IEPs and targeted interventions

• A deep understanding of child development and evidence-based literacy and numeracy support

• Demonstrated ability to implement information and communication technology into teaching and learning

• Skills and sensitivity in communicating with parents, students and other employees

• An ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

• Experience with Language Support and familiarity with systems such as TASS will be highly regarded.
