Best Start Early Learning Centre is a privately owned and operated early learning provider on the Central Coast, NSW.

We're growing — and Settlers Road is our next chapter. This is a brand new, purpose-built 79 place long day care service opening in late July 2026, and we're looking for passionate Certificate III and Diploma Educators to join our founding team.

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Educators to join our team in either a Full Time or Part Time capacity.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new service from the very beginning, working alongside a supportive leadership team to create a positive, high-quality learning environment for children and families.

In this role, you will provide high-quality education and care while supporting children to learn, grow and thrive. You will contribute to creating engaging learning environments, building strong relationships with children and families, and helping shape the culture of our new service.

Key Responsibilities

Provide High-Quality Care

• Support children's learning, wellbeing and development in a safe, nurturing and engaging environment

• Build secure, responsive and respectful relationships with children

Support Learning and Development

• Assist with the implementation of educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework

• Support children's individual interests, strengths and developmental goals

• Contribute to observations, planning and reflective practice

Be a Positive Role Model

• Model positive interactions and communication with children, families and colleagues

• Support children through daily routines and learning experiences

Collaborate with the Team

• Work collaboratively with educators, teachers and leadership to deliver high-quality outcomes

• Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture

Create a Safe and Inclusive Environment

• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment

• Support inclusive practices and celebrate diversity

• Promote children's health, safety and wellbeing at all times

About You

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Knowledge of educator responsibilities under the National Quality Framework
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid and CPR qualification
• Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training
• Passion for high-quality early childhood education and care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
